Preparation: Wash the hair thoroughly with a clarifying shampoo (Step 1) to open up the hair cuticles and remove all residue. Blow-dry the hair to about 80% to 100% dry.
Application: Section the hair into manageable parts. Wear gloves and apply Velvet Care Brazilian Botox (Step 2) evenly from roots to ends using a tint brush, keeping half an inch away from the scalp. Comb through to remove excess product.
Development: Allow the treatment to process on the hair for 30 to 50 minutes (depending on hair texture and resistance).
Drying: Blow-dry the hair completely (100% dry) using a medium heat setting.
Sealing: Section the hair again and use a professional flat iron (adjusted between 200°C to 230°C depending on hair health) to iron small, thin sections 7 to 10 times each to lock in the keratin treatment.
Post-Treatment: Follow salon guidelines for rinsing and subsequent maintenance washes using sulfate-free aftercare products.
