After shampooing, apply the mask to clean, damp hair after squeezing out excess water. Apply mainly to the lengths and ends, avoiding direct application to the scalp. Leave it on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water. PLIX advises avoiding hot-water rinsing.
